2009 Fudan Prize of Outstanding Contributions to Management Award Ceremony was held in Beijing on November, 1, 2009. Prof.  Wang Shouyang from AMSS, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS),together with the other two management scientists share the prize for their outstanding Contributions to Management science.  Prof. Wang Shouyang  won this prize because of his outstanding contributions in the fields of decision analysis, financial risk management and economic forecasting.

Former Vice-Premier Li Lanqing and Professor Lu Yongxiang , Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of CAS conferred the prizes to the award winners. Prof. Bai Chunli , Executive Vice-president of CAS attended the awarding ceremony, too.

Fudan Premium Fund of Management was launched by former Vice Premier Li Lanqing in 2005. The Fudan Premium Fund of Management is the first fund for management prize in the mainland of China. The mission of the Fund is to reward and encourage people who have made outstanding contributions to management in China and to promote the development of science management. A total of 12 scholars have won the prize for their outstanding contributions to management science, business administration and public administration since 2006. Prof. Xikang Chen from AMSS won 2006 Fudan Prize of Outstanding Contributions to Management.
