The 7th Chinese Female Scientists Award Ceremony was held in Beijing on Jan.11, 2011. Prof.Zhi Lihong was honored with the prize.

Prof. Zhi Lihong focuses on the development of techniques and algorithms in symbolic and numeric computations. Beginning with her doctoral research at the Institute of Systems Science, she has been working in the complementary areas of symbolic and numeric computations, including exact multivariate polynomial factorization over algebraic extension fields, symbolic-numeric hybrid algorithms for polynomials, and exact certificates for polynomial optimization problem.

The Chinese Female Scientists Award is awarded annually, which has aroused great attention in science and technology circle. More than 57 female scientists got the prize in recent seven years.
