The 5th Chinese-Swedish Conference on Control was held at Lund University of Sweden on May 30-31, 2011.

Prof. GUO Lei, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, Prof. Karl Johan Åström and Prof.Lennart Ljung, Member of Swedish Royal Academy of Science and Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, Prof. Anders Lindquist, Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and other 25 experts were invited to deliver talks at the conference. Prof. Keith Glover, Member of the Royal Society of London and Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences attended the two-day conference, too. Prof. Anders Rantzer, Dean of automatic control of Lund University presided over the conference.

Prof. GUO Lei, Prof. CHENG Daizhan, Prof. HONG Yiguang, Prof. ZHANG Xu, Assistant Prof. ZHAO Yanlong from AMSS gave talks named “Towards a Theory of Stochastic Adaptive Differential Games”, “Decomposition of Logical Mappings and Its Application to Dynamic-algebraic Boolean Networks”, “Distributed Output Regulation Control of Multi-agent Systems”, “Controllability and Observability of Some Stochastic PDEs”, “Identification and Adaptive Tracking Control of Systems with Set-Valued Observations”, respectively.

The Conference is jointly organized by the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS) and Sweden Lund University, which received by support from universities and institutes from China and Sweden. The Swedish-Chinese Conference on Control took place with the purpose of providing a forum for control scientists from both China and Sweden to discuss advanced topics in systems and control.
