The 4th International Symposium on Graph Theory and Combinatorial Algorithms was held at AMSS on July 9th-11th, 2011. About 160 experts and graduates at home and abroad attended the symposium.

There were 17 invited reports and 38 plenary talks given by researchers at home and Hong Kong, America, France, etc. Besides, Prof. ZHU Yongjin’s 80th birthday was celebrated and Young Author Best Paper Award for Society of Graph Theory and Combinatorics, Operations Research Society of China (ORSC) was chosen and awarded for the first time during the conference.

The symposium was co-hosted by Graph Theory and Combinatorics and Network Research Center, AMSS and Society of Graph Theory and Combinatorics, ORSC and supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Natural Science Foundation of China, AMSS and ORSC.
