Prof. Sinnou David, the deputy-director of the mathematics department of Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), at Prof. WANG Yuefei’s invitation, paid a visit to AMSS on June 4, 2014.

On the meeting, Prof. WANG Yuefei, the President of AMSS and Prof. GAO Xiaoshan, the Vice-president of AMSS introduced the history, research areas, researchers of AMSS and its cooperation with France, etc. Prof. Sinnou David gave an introduction to mathematics research of CNRS, exchanges and cooperation with China. Both sides reached a consensus that the long and effective cooperative partnership should be maintained in the future.

AMSS has sustained an intensive partnership with institutions affiliated CNRS in recent years. As one of the main Chinese parties, Sino-French International Associated Laboratory for Applied Mathematics (LIASFMA) has been established in 2014.
