Invited by Korea Institute of Advanced Study (KIAS), Prof. WANG Yuefei, AMSS President went to Korea to attend the Sino-Korea Symposium and signed the Memorandum of Understanding between AMSS-CAS and KIAS from 15th to 17th, June, 2014. Prof. DUAN Haibao and Prof.HUANG Feimin, AMSS also attended the symposium and gave lectures, respectively.

The aim of this MOU is to strengthen mutual understanding, to foster cooperation, and to promote scientific collaboration in the field of basic sciences between the parties. This MOU sets forth the understandings and intentions of the parties with regard to the definition and form of cooperation. Cooperative activities include exchange of scientists, information, and publications, and the organization of joint workshops, seminars, and conferences.

The MOU will further promote bilateral cooperation in the field of basic sciences, especially in mathematics.
