Forum on Scientific and Engineering Computing 2015 was held at AMSS on 8-9, June,2015.

The topic mainly covered the computational biology.

The invited speakers included Prof. Luonan Chen from Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS who gave the talk titled Causality detection and dynamics prediction by high-dimensional short-sequence data application to biological and medical sciences, Prof. Benzhuo Lu from Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing, CAS who gave the talk titled Continuum modeling of charged systems at molecular and nano-scales , Prof. Qing Nie from University of California, Irvine, USA who gave the talk titled Stem Cells: From Small Model to Big Data , Prof. Arthur J. Olson from Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, USA who gave the talk tiled Modeling and Interacting with the Molecular Cell , Prof. Yi Xiao from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China who gave the talk titled Computational Prediction of RNA Tertiary Structures, Prof. Michael Zhang from Tsinghua University, China who gave the talk titled Quantitative Modeling of Micro RNA-Mediated Regulation on Competing Endogenous RNAs .

The purpose of the forum was to promote the interdisciplinary research in the field of scientific and engineering computations, which was jointly-organized by State Key Laboratory on Scientific and Engineering Computing and the National Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences,AMSS.
