Dr. Sándor Zoltán Németh, gave a lecture titled “On the spherical quasi-convexity of quadratic functions” at AMSS on 1, August 2018.

This talk was about the spherical quasi-convexity of quadratic functions on spherically convex sets. Several conditions characterizing the spherical quasi-convexity of quadratic functions were presented. In particular, conditions implying spherical quasi-convexity of quadratic functions on the spherical positive orthant were given. Some examples were provided as an application of the obtained results.
