Prof.Ya-Feng Liu Has Won the 15th IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award

Prof. Ya-Feng Liu has won the 15th IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award for his contributions to the optimal design of the wireless communication system. The “IEEE ComSoc Asia Pacific Young Researcher Award” is sponsored by IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Asia Pacific Board (APB). This award honors young researchers who have been active in IEEE ComSoc publications and conference activities over the last three years.

Ya-Feng Liu is currently an Associate Professor at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His main research interests are nonlinear optimization and its applications to signal processing and wireless communications. He has published over 40 journal papers on the above mentioned topics and his works have been cited more than 1450 times according to the Google Scholar. He is an Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Optimization and the IEEE Signal Processing Letters. He is an elected member of the Signal Processing for Communications and Networking Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. He has received the Best Paper Award from the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) in 2011, the Chen Jingrun Star Award from the AMSS in 2018, and the Science and Technology Award for Young Scholars from the Operations Research Society of China in 2018.
