Abstract:

Spectral collocation method are proposed to solve integral equations and integral differential equations of Volterra type and Fredholm type with weakly singular kernels and related eigenvalue problems, as well as Hamiltonian dynamical systems. Both numerical evidence and theoretical analysis indicate that spectral methods are effective and have advantages over traditional $h$-version methods.
