Title:

Image Processing for Structural Biology: Towards an integrated view of life

Time:
2012.1.10 9:30am
Venue:
Z311
Abstract:

Recent advances in the development of new image processing algorithms are facilitating the access of structural biologists to the three-dimensional structure of macromolecular complexes. In this talk we will review the state-of-art of image processing for single particle analysis, we will analyze current bottlenecks, and we will make some prospects for the future.
