Title:
Singular Liouville equation on elliptic curves and integrable systems
Time & Venue:

Abstract:
We explain how the singular Liouville equation ( i.e. the prescribed curvature equation for positive constant curvature with a singular source) on flat tori give rise to integrable systems and hyperelliptic curves, and their relation with the classical Lame equations (c.f. the last chapter of Whittaker-Watson). This is joint work with C.-S. Lin and C.-L. Wang.
