Quantum Error Correction: Implementation of [n,k,d] code

Abstract:
In the study of quantum error correction, quantum information scientists are interested in constructing practical and efficient schemes for overcoming the decoherence in quantum systems. In particular, researchers would like to obtain useful quantum correction codes and construct simple encoding and decoding quantum circuits. In this talk, we review some of our recent work on the implementation of [5,1,3] code and [8,3,3] code.
