Abstract:
Global class field theory for function fields can be deduced from the fact that, in high degree, the Abel Jacobi morphism of a proper smooth algebraic curve is a locally trivial fibration in simply connected varieties. I will explain a similar statement in the framework of my geometrisation conjecture of the local Langlands correspondence. Here the curve is the one I defined and studied in my joint work with Fontaine.
