In this talk, we first establish the matrix splitting iteration methods with minimum residual for solving a general class of large and sparse linear systems. Theoretical analyses show that the adaptive matrix splitting methods are convergent with weak conditions. By utilizing the Euler-extrapolated technique, we further present a class of adaptive alternating Euler-extrapolated splitting iteration method to solve complex symmetric linear equations, and prove that this method is unconditionally convergent. Numerical experiments are presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed methods and preconditioners.
