Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss several zeta functions associated to a polynomial f, which encode information about the p-adic and Archimedean norm of f. It is known that they are governed by the singularities of the polynomial via log resolutions. I will survey my recent work on several conjectures predicting the relation between poles of these zeta functions and the roots of the Bernstein-Sato polynomial of f, building on the theory of (complex) mixed Hodge modules and some ideas from geometric representation theory. Based on the joint work with Dougal Davis and Andras Lorincz.
