Abstract: A projective space has plenty of birational models.However, if it is endowed with an action of a sufficiently large finite group, it tends to be much more rigid. I will survey recent results on equivariant birational rigidity of projective spaces over the fields of complex and real numbers. The talk is based on joint works with Ivan Cheltsov and Frederic Mangolte.
