Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss the relation between invertible field theories, bordism, and Anderson duality, following Freed and Hopkins. I will explain how Anderson duals of bordism spectra appear in the classification of invertible field theories. I will then describe joint work with Fei Han on a differential twisted anomaly map from differential twisted K-theory to the differential Anderson dual of twisted Spinᶜ-bordism.
